I finished the spring covers and installed them in the car. Above is the paper template used for cutting out the 20 gauge steel sheet. One side has a cut-out for the battery cable.
Note these are not precisely machined items, by any stretch of the imagination, but they do the job. I’m not sure if there was anything there originally, but it felt a bit incomplete without them
