This issue seems to follow me around, that is, the front sheet metal of my cars invariably is pretty wonky. Case in point is the Morgan, where the fenders are quite different from each other. I’m not sure, given my “talents”, whether I’ll be able to unwonkify it.
That said, it almost certainly wasn’t very good from the factory. The indicator light on the driver’s side is a good 5/8″ further inboard than the right one, though both are centered under their respective headlights. Speaking of which, the right-hand light is kind of potato shaped…
I cannot get over the fact that this whole car looks about half an inch to an inch too high. New springs in the front, sure, but the backs are original. I mean, I’d say 90% of the weight that’s going to be in the car is in it. Guess we’ll see.
